About Us
Sewell & Sewell Architects is an architectural firm specializing in commercial, industrial and residential design. Our firm is based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky and is comprised of two founding partners, Nick Sewell and Matt Sewell. Utilizing the latest technology, the firm provides architectural services for clients in order to deliver greater value and enhanced design for various types of construction projects.
MATT SEWELL – Architect / Co-Owner
Matt Sewell is a 2006 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. After graduation, Matt worked for a large architectural firm in Lexington, Kentucky for more than 5 years before starting Sewell and Sewell Architects in May 2011 with his brother, Nick Sewell. He has more than 17 years of design experience in various types of projects including higher education, secondary education, public and private housing, industrial, and commercial.
Matt is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council. He is a licensed architect in the State of Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. Matt specializes in three-dimensional modeling, architectural renderings, schematic design, and construction document drawings. His expertise in three-dimensional modeling and architectural renderings allows clients to visualize their project prior to the start of construction.
NICK SEWELL – Architect / Co-Owner
Nick Sewell is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. After graduation, Nick worked for a large architectural firm in Lexington, Kentucky for more than 10 years before starting Sewell and Sewell Architects in May 2011 with his brother, Matt Sewell. He has more than 22 years of design experience in various types of projects including higher education, secondary education, public and private housing, industrial, and commercial.
Nick is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council. He is a licensed architect in the State of Kentucky and Tennessee. Nick specializes in schematic design, construction document drawings, and project management. His ability to manage projects from design to completion of construction has helped Sewell and Sewell Architects develop strong working relationships with their clients.
